‘Top Gun: Maverick' is a rare film on many fronts

1. It is an exhilarating ride. Very few films have come this close to making you feel you're piloting a fighter jet. It's an experience only a film can give you.
2. All Actors were actually airborne in their planes during the shoot
3. It is the only film I've ever seen that shows armed combat yet never mentions or shows its antagonist, not even the country, let alone a person. There is zero jingoism. All the drama is built within the purview of the protagonist's world.

And all of this with reasonably engaging emotions and the most filmy climax make this a must watch on the biggest screen you can find, ideally an IMAX.

Strongly recommended - even if you didn't watch the earlier one!
