‘Eeb Allay Ooo’ - Extraordinary Indie filmmaking

A migrant is tasked with shooing monkeys away in Lutyens Delhi.

An absurdist satire, 'Eeb Allay Ooo!' is worth a watch for how it uncovers the different layers of life in India. Written by Shubham Vardhan, Directed by Prateek Vats & Produced by Nama Productions, the film features a scintillating performance by protagonist Shardul Bhardwaj (his performance when locked in the cage is the stuff of legends).

The film is also known for winning the Golden Gateway award at MAMI and for being selected at Berlinale!

P.S. Major kudos to the team for casting non-actors too for an immersive, authentic experience as well as for managing to shoot monkeys in their various moods in the heart of Lutyens Delhi!
